picking up the bus

It is hard to believe it's been a little over two months since we picked Eva up from the Head Start program in Salem, OR. I'll never forget pulling into the parking lot that day in February and seeing her sitting there in all her boxy glory. I couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitement as we parked... this was the day I had been waiting for for the past eight years. Needless to say, I skipped from the car to the bus.
